This Diwali was special for 1100 God’s own children across 8+ beneficiary institutions where our members & volunteers shared some moments of joy and happiness.
Diwali is a special festival we celebrate with family and near & dear ones and this Diwali Chennai Food Bank members & volunteers reached out to 8+ deserving institutions on the same day and shared gifts and goodies.
Members were given a briefing on the activity to be undertaken across the institutions and the enthusiastic team was present at Chennai Food Bank Registered Office early morning to ensure they do not miss out on this wonderful initiative. The briefing session had children, members, volunteers attend in good numbers with a lot of enthusiasm.
Reaching Out To The Needy
Chennai Food Bank with the help of members and volunteers reached out to 8+ institutions and shared the joy of festivities with 1100 inmates. The beneficiaries were grateful to the movement, members and the donors who have always supported them. The beneficiary institutions include

Sharing some moments of joy, happiness and celebration with the lesser privileged and showing them that they have a family and someone they can bank upon everytime they need someone – Chennai Food Bank has always been there with such meaningful causes, thanks to the members who spent the entire day with the wonderful inmates of the institutions, and the team which planned the entire event meticulously for over a week.
